New this year all Northwoods maufactured homes can be converted to the heavier modular code.

You can also change a Northwoods manufactured home into a self contained Northwoods modular home by having the factory install the furnace on the main floor with duckwork and registers, plus the waterheater installed on the main floor with water lines installed to the sinks and tubs. These modular homes can be placed on a frost-proof cement slab and supported on rim joist by 40" high cement block wall with supports every 8' down the middle.
